Who we are?
Eastern Oregon Mission is a faith-based, non-profit organization wholeheartedly dedicated to helping and serving those in need within Umatilla and Morrow County, with a special focus on the greater Hermiston area. Our mission is to provide compassionate support to members of our community by offering a wide range of essential resources and services during times of hardship and need. Eastern Oregon Mission is committed to addressing the needs of the whole family, understanding that lasting support requires much more than immediate assistance. We are deeply focused on tackling the underlying causes of homelessness and poverty, while providing personalized and tailored help to meet the unique and diverse needs of each family we serve. As community challenges continue to grow, we are seeing an increasing number of elderly individuals, children, single-parent families, the homeless, and those newly facing unemployment who rely on our programs. At Eastern Oregon Mission, we strive to serve all members of our community by concentrating on critical areas such as children and youth services, housing and homelessness support, hunger and food security, poverty alleviation, and the distinct needs of rural populations in our region.

We are committed to assisting homeless families in building stable, self-sufficient lives by providing safe homes, educational opportunities, and compassionate care tailored to their unique circumstances. By addressing the complex challenges of homelessness, hunger, and poverty, we foster independence and resilience through a diverse range of supportive programs designed to empower individuals and families toward lasting success.
