Our Mission & Ministry:
Eastern Oregon Mission is a community-focused nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families in need within Umatilla and Morrow County, with a special focus on the greater Hermiston area. Guided by compassion and faith, our mission is to provide essential resources, support, and hope to those experiencing hardship, fostering lasting change and self-sufficiency.
OUTREACH PROGRAMS
- Agape House
Agape House operates under Eastern Oregon Mission as a resource center and food pantry. It supplies meals, groceries, clothing, basic necessities, and supportive services to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. Agape House is committed to treating everyone with dignity, offering a welcoming environment where all are valued and empowered to thrive


Backpack Elementary School Weekend Food Program
Volunteers and donations, each school week Agape House provides elementary school students in Hermiston, Umatilla, Echo, Stanfield, and Irrigon with food to use over the weekend. By providing kids with the nutrients they need when they are away from school, they show up on Monday morning healthy and ready to learn. We are currently helping over 275 students each week. Wish list of items needed to support the program.

Martha’s House
Martha’s House is a Family Transitional Housing Shelter that is part of Eastern Oregon Mission. It provides safe, temporary housing and support services to families and individuals experiencing homelessness. Through case management, life skills training, and community partnerships, Martha’s House helps residents work toward long-term stability and self-reliance.

A critical service to the community by offering a safe and supportive environment for families in transition. To continue making a meaningful impact, Martha's House is seeking the support of Sponsors, Volunteers, and Mentors.
- As a Sponsor, your contributions can help fund essential programs and resources that empower families to rebuild their lives.
- Mentors play a crucial role by offering guidance and encouragement to families as they navigate their paths to independence.
- Volunteers are needed to assist with daily operations, organize community events, and provide support to residents.
